Administrative Associate Position

Source Research Foundation (SRF) is looking to fill the position of Administrative Associate. The Administrative Associate will be SRF’s first staff member and will support the Board of Directors, who serve the organization in a volunteer capacity. This position is an opportunity to support a growing foundation in the emerging field of psychedelic research, and includes opportunities to grow SRF’s grantmaking with new programs.

This individual’s tasks will include: serving as the primary point of contact in achieving effective communication across the foundation; responding to and redirecting email correspondence for the overall foundation, the Founding Board Members, and President; scheduling Board meetings; meeting SRF’s administrative needs; cultivating external relationships; and assisting with all other projects as needed. We seek a trustworthy, organized individual with excellent attention to detail and a passion to support the mission of SRF.

Position Title: Administrative Associate

Job Type: Part-time 

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Hours per week: Up to 10 hours initially, with possibility of expansion

Position Location: Remote

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

• Monitoring foundation email

• Process incoming gifts and steward donors

• Outreach to prospective individual donors and foundations

• Developing the community grants program, a new grantmaking area

• Connecting to other psychedelic foundations and developing relationships

• Updating the SRF online newsletter using Mailchimp

• Creating Doodle polls for Board meetings

• Handling requests for grant award reimbursements

• Other tasks not currently assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality

• Professionalism and proper email etiquette 

• Ability to complete tasks on time and accurately

• Basic Computer Skills (Office 365, Social Media, Zoom, Doodle poll)

• Wordpress skills desired, but training can be provided

• Outstanding communicator, excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Exceptional attention to detail and project follow-through

• Proactive and resourceful in executing open-ended directives

• High level of discretion, judgment, and diplomacy; highly empathetic

• Interest in nonprofit administration and governance

• Knowledge of the psychedelic movement and intersecting social justice issues is

preferred
