The mission of Horizons is to help the public understand the world of psychedelics.

They create live and digital forums, classes, and films that examine the role of psychedelic drugs and plant medicines in science, medicine, culture, and spirituality.

Horizons: Perspectives on Psychedelics, their annual flagship conference in New York City, is the largest and longest-running annual gathering of the psychedelic community in the world.

The Horizons Center Public Benefit Corporation is based in New York City, and operates in partnership with Horizons Media, Inc., a 501(c)(3) educational charity.

The Interdisciplinary Conference on Psychedelic Research will take place June 6th-8th 2024 in Haarlem, The Netherlands and is organized by the OPEN Foundation. ICPR gathers world-leading experts across multiple academic disciplines, including psychiatry, psychology, neuroscience, anthropology, ethnobotany, and philosophy, for a multidisciplinary scientific conference encompassing academia, therapy, research, clinical practice, policymaking, and public engagement.
